Who are the students staying in a homestay?
Our students come from all over the world and from a wide range of age groups and backgrounds.
They are motivated individuals who choose homestay accommodation to fully immerse themselves in the local language and culture.
Who can I contact if I have any questions?
Once your application is approved, you will be connected with your local LTL Culture Specialist.
They will arrange an initial meeting and remain your main point of contact throughout your hosting experience.
Do I need to prepare meals for the student?
Yes.
Hosts are expected to provide breakfast and dinner on both weekdays and weekends.
If a student is unable to attend a meal, they will inform you in advance.
Can I meet the students before they arrive?
Before arrival, you will receive information about your student.
Students will also receive your details and may contact you to introduce themselves in advance.
What if I can no longer host?
If your availability changes, simply inform us.
We will update our records and remove you from the homestay list if needed.
