Available during winter holidays, LTL Winter Camps provides the perfect chance for your children (age 7-17) to immerse themselves into a new language, whilst getting to explore some of the finest sights Asia has to offer.
Young learners from across the globe come together for an unforgettable journey into language and culture. At LTL, we offer three distinct Winter Camp options, tailored by age group and accommodation style.

Homestay Camp
For 11 to 17 years oldStaying with a homestay family offers students a unique opportunity to experience local culture up close while practising their language skills daily. Students share breakfast and dinner with the family and can join in on weekend activities, especially on Sundays. Each student enjoys the comfort and privacy of their own single room.

Residence Camp
For 11 to 17 years oldLive with fellow students in shared rooms, with a program coordinator on-site for support, supervision, and daily activities. All meals are shared at home, school, or local restaurants.

Teen Day Camp
For 12 to 17 years oldStudents participate in all classes and social activities, but stays with his or her parents at night and on Sundays. During weekend trips, transport to the school can be arranged, depending on location.

For 7 to 11 years oldStudents join all classes and activities but return to stay with their parents in the evenings and on Sundays. A reduced Teen Day Camp rate is available when a parent joins for all activities.

Winter Camp in Beijing
A Winter Camp in Beijing is an unforgettable experience for young learners.
We welcome students aged 7–17 from around the world to join us at LTL’s Beijing branch. Mornings are spent learning Chinese in the classroom, followed by group lunches and exciting afternoon activities that bring the city to life.
Each Saturday, we head out on full-day excursions to iconic sites like the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, and even go ice skating on the famous Houhai Lake. It’s the perfect blend of language, culture, and adventure.


Winter Camp in Tokyo
A Winter Camp in Tokyo is a thrilling way to explore Japanese language and culture in one of the world’s most vibrant cities.
Students study Japanese each morning at our LTL Tokyo camp, then dive into exciting cultural activities every afternoon, ranging from traditional arts to pop culture and local adventures.
On Saturdays, we head out on full-day trips to discover Tokyo’s iconic shrines, museums, lively shopping streets, and hidden gems. It’s the perfect mix of learning and exploration.
Winter Camp in Seoul
This Winter Camp in Seoul is a fantastic opportunity to learn Korean while experiencing the city’s vibrant culture during its coldest and most magical season.
From Monday to Friday, students attend Korean lessons in the morning at our LTL Seoul camp, followed by a variety of cultural activities in the afternoon, such as exploring traditional neighbourhoods, visiting historic sites, and even wearing Hanbok at Seoul’s iconic palaces.
Every Saturday, we take day trips to top landmarks such as Gyeongbokgung Palace and Namsan Tower, and enjoy seasonal fun like ice skating at Olympic Park.

Can I set rules for my child?
Yes you can.
Before your child comes to our Winter Camp, you will fill out our parent questionnaire, where you can define rules for your child during their time there.
What happens if my child gets sick?
There are high-quality international medical facilities available.
Doctors speak English, and the service quality is strong.
We will accompany your child to the hospital, in case of an emergency at any time of the day/night needed.
Why do under-18s stay with homestay families?
Our homestay families are great with teenagers.
They look after their host children very well and provide not only a safe but also comfortable environment at home that allows your child to explore from a safe home base.
They also provide supervision and help with enforcing the rules you set for your child.
Who do I contact if there are problems?
During the program, your child’s guardian is always your first point of contact. If your child does not have a guardian program, please contact your student advisor.
In case of emergencies, we are contactable 24/7. For non-urgent questions you will have a reply latest by the next working day.
Can families participate as well as just children?
Yes, parents can accompany their children to the Winter Camp and either take a language course on their own, share accommodation with their child or take a break and explore while their child is at the summer camp.
