RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMER
By participating in any course, activity, program, event, trip, accommodation arrangement, or other activity organized, recommended, facilitated, or arranged by LTL Language School (“LTL”), the student acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions:
1. Visa and Immigration Responsibility
LTL Language School shall not be responsible for obtaining, extending, maintaining, or guaranteeing any visa, residence permit, immigration approval, or legal immigration status for any student.
Any information or assistance provided by LTL regarding visas or immigration matters is provided for general informational purposes only and shall not be considered legal or professional immigration advice.
Students are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring that their visa and immigration status remain lawful;
- Complying with all immigration requirements and regulations of the relevant country;
- Monitoring the validity, conditions, and limitations of their visa.
LTL shall not be liable for any visa rejection, cancellation, overstay, denial of entry, deportation, or any consequences arising from immigration or residency-related matters.
2. Accidents, Injuries, and Personal Safety
Students understand and acknowledge that participation in classes, student activities, extracurricular activities, accommodation programs, transportation, trips, or other events may involve risks including, but not limited to, accidents, illness, injury, property loss, theft, or other damages.
Students voluntarily participate in such activities and assume all risks associated with their participation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LTL Language School shall not be liable for any personal injury, accident, death, medical expense, loss, damage, delay, or other incident arising from or related to:
- Student activities or events;
- Accommodation programs or housing arrangements;
- Language courses or educational programs;
- Transportation or travel connected with such activities or programs.
However, this limitation shall not apply to damages directly caused by LTL’s willful misconduct or gross negligence where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
Students are strongly advised to obtain appropriate medical, travel, and personal insurance coverage before participating in any program.
3. Criminal Conduct and Legal Violations
LTL Language School shall not be responsible for any criminal investigation, prosecution, arrest, detention, fine, penalty, lawsuit, deportation, or legal consequence arising from the actions, conduct, or behavior of any student.
Students are solely responsible for complying with all laws, regulations, and governmental requirements in the country where they study, reside, or travel.
4. Unauthorized Activities Under a Visa or Immigration Status
LTL Language School shall not be responsible for any consequences arising from students engaging in activities that are not permitted under their visa or immigration status, including but not limited to:
- Unauthorized employment;
- Unauthorized business activities;
- Unauthorized freelance work;
- Visa overstays;
- Violations of visa conditions or immigration restrictions.
Students acknowledge that they are solely responsible for understanding and complying with the conditions, limitations, and obligations associated with their visa and immigration status.
5. General Acknowledgment
By participating in any LTL program or activity, students acknowledge that they:
- Have read and understood the contents of this document;
- Voluntarily agree to the terms stated above;
- Understand and accept the potential risks associated with participation in the program.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, students agree that LTL Language School, together with its directors, employees, contractors, agents, partners, and affiliated parties, shall not be liable for any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from the matters described above, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
